What is March Madness?

March Madness is the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament, featuring 64 college basketball teams from across the United States. Teams compete in an elimination-style bracket tournament, where the winning team in each match-up advances to the next round.

Important Dates

• March 16th: Selection Sunday (teams are seeded and the starting matchups of the bracket are determined)
• March 16th: first day to fill out your brackets
• March 19th: last day to submit your predictive model and brackets
• March 20th: March Madness tournament begins!
• April 7th: tournament ends and bracket winners are known!
